The Chair of IBA Dr Dawn Casey welcomes the bipartisan approach taken by both sides of the House and Chamber following the Prime Minister’s speech last week on Closing the Gap.

“Whilst there is still much to be done in regards to education, health and community safety , it is also important to highlight how successful Indigenous Economic Development initiatives can be in closing gaps between Indigenous and non Indigenous Australians in areas such as home ownership, self employment and investment opportunities with the private sector."
