Home ownership and Indigenous Australians

The practicalities of repaying a loan and the associated costs of owning a home mean that home ownership is not a sustainable housing option for everyone, especially those on lower incomes.  The challenge is even greater for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

For over 40 years, IBA's Indigenous Home Ownership Program assists Indigenous Australians to address the barriers of home ownership, particularly for those in remote areas.
