The latest feature on SBS Small Business Secrets was aired on 18 April with hardyhardy.

Bernadette Hardy is a Gamilaraay-Dharug woman, in a business partnership with designer-husband Chris. Together they are forging a new approach to furniture and interior design in Australia, through their Indigenous business hardyhardy.

Incorporating culture and the importance of family is the centre of what hardyhardy do. You won't want to miss this segment – their story is touching and inspirational about a family incorporating hardship and culture into their design.

“Bernadette and Chris have shown enormous strength and resilience, and were able to adapt and be flexible, which is something that's a great role model for business owners everywhere,” said IBA's Talitha Roberts.

Check out all the segments aired thus far: a deadly fashion designer, Deadly Denim, a bush foods entrepreneur, My Dilly Bag, and now hardyhardy. The last segment in the series airs on 25 April with Saltwater Eco Tours.
