MoU with Monash University for Master of Indigenous Business Leadership

IBA partner with Monash University to support the Master of Indigenous Business Leadership (MoIBL) program and its students. Over the next 18 months, the Memorandum of Understanding includes a commitment of both parties to support Indigenous students to build their leadership competencies.

Monash University is among five Australian universities providing exclusive leadership programs for First Nations individuals, led primarily by Indigenous faculty. The university offers a two-year Master of Indigenous Business Leadership (MoIBL), combining on-campus "residencies" in Melbourne with mostly online modules.

The MoIBL program aims to offer a higher education qualification while enhancing networks, skills, and the capacity to become a more effective First Nations leader in both community and business.

Starting February 2024, the program features in-person residency units scheduled for February, May, August, and October 2024.
