In this issue we speak to Brooke Morley from the Alice Springs office. Brooke works in the Finance and Risk team as Risk Analyst.

IBA’s Finance and Risk team is responsible for ensuring IBA’s budgets and financial management are in compliance with the Commonwealth budgetary and financial framework. Finance is also responsible for financial management reporting across IBA’s program delivery branches and subsidiaries.

Brooke is from Alice Springs (Arrernte country) and has lived there most of her life.

Describe your role at IBA and what it entails

I oversee a number of IBA’s compliance activities including insurance arrangements for IBA and its subsidiaries

I provide the business with governance, risk and compliance advice and risk analysis of various matters.

IBA’s Risk Management Framework integrates risk management into our activities and identifies, analyses, evaluates and manages risk. This includes a set of principles that describe best practice, a framework that provides a structure, and a process that prescribes a structured approach to understanding, communicating and managing risk in practice.
