Latest IBA e-newsletter out now

Posted 24 June 2025

2025 is a big year for IBA as we continue to celebrate impact, resilience, and community over 50 years. In the latest edition of our e-newsletter, we're excited to launch our latest Impact Report, introduce you to Tim from the IBA team, and share inspiring customer stories:

  • Sister, sister story: Desiree and her two younger sisters yarn about life and what financial wellbeing means to them.
  • 4 Hands Furniture: Meet Nick Scott and Rembarranga man Tim Sweet  – the master craftsmen behind 4 Hands Furniture. They create handcrafted furniture and custom cabinetry while mentoring the next generation of Indigenous artisans.
  • Priorities, passion, & parenting: Home owner Samuel says it’s hard prioritising and budgeting being a single parent. His advice? “Stay positive and keep focused. You can do anything in this life if you’ve got the drive and the passion.”
  • Where are they now? When we first caught up with the McGinness family back in 2014. They had recently bought land to build a home in Kuranda for their family of three young children. We returned ten years on to see if the dream had lived up to expectations.

We also share quick links to our upcoming home and business workshops.
